Are we relying on technology too much?

We all use our mobile devices a lot – for work, for checking in with friends and family, looking up things online and sometimes occasionally for making phone calls! A recent survey in the US  found that 32% of adults have used their smartphone at a child’s school function and a further 55% used the phone while driving. A glance around a busy train station or even a restaurant shows that we cannot bear to be offline – 33% of adults have used the phone during a dinner date. But what effect is all of this connectivity, this reliance on the smartphone, having on us – does it matter? More
